Why We Needed a Community

As a youth-led campaign, we saw the need to come together in a digital space, outside the world of traditional social media. In our private, vetted community, we have a place to share stories, connect with others who want to create a world without bullying, and find  resources to support you on your journey. Together, we can collaborate to find a way forward toward a world without bullying.

Why You Should Join

We see the pain that bullying—and race-based bullying—is causing in our communities, and we can’t stand by. By using the power of storytelling, we can create our own solutions to build resilient, positive communities.

Join a youth-led group of advocates working for a world without bullying. Our aim is to engage our peers, tweens and teens, to elevate the issue of race-based bullying and become anti-bullying advocates and activists in their own schools and networks. To do this, we saw the need to come together in a digital space, outside the world of traditional social media to share experiences and connect in a safe, inclusive environment.

About Our Campaign

Bullying is hard to define - it's more than something that causes hurt feelings or a single cruel joke. It’s repeated, hurtful, intentional behavior by people who perceive another person to be less powerful than themselves.

And to take it a step further, when someone is bullied because of their race, origin, ethnicity, heritage, or language, it is called ‘race-based bullying’ and it’s on the rise, especially directed at the AAPI and BIPOC communities.

To create change, we need to recognize how it’s hurting our communities and have an open conversation about what we can do to address it.

By coming together in this community, we can acknowledge this doesn’t happen in a vacuum and talk about ways to bring it to light.
