Counting Incidents of Bullying
to Counter Bullying

Log an incident of bullying now.

This is not a helpline. If you need immediate support, please visit Teen Line

Bullying—and race-based bullying—happens all the time, all over the place. Often, we experience, see, or are part of bullying situations but don’t say anything, because we don’t recognize it’s bullying in the moment, and/or we’re scared or worried about making things worse.

But in order to create a world without bullying, and treat one another with respect, we need to know what the problems are and when and where they’re happening. That’s why we’ve created the Bullied Button, a tool to count times when and where bullying happens. It’s quick, safe, and anonymous. If you have experienced, seen, or participated in a bullying situation, please log it now using the button above.

What should I log with the Bullied Button

Identity shaming

Treating someone badly because of who you think they are (their race, their gender, or their sexual identity).

Mocking appearance

Making fun of someone for how they look/present.

Name-calling

People using nasty words to insult other people.

Making fun of someone

Making someone feel ‘less than’ because you think they’re different.

Threatening

Telling someone you’ll do something hurtful if they don’t do what you want.

Opportunistic

Making someone feel small or alone because you can.

Whether you were bullied, saw someone being bullied, or participated in the bullying yourself, we need to know. Hurt people hurt people, and just like we’re all part of the problem, we can all be part of the solution.

Share the Bullied Button
